INCLUDED IN EVERY COLLECTION

LOCATION SCOUTING

When you have picked your dream destination for your wedding I will do all the research on the location. Picking the best views according to your vision. I will also physically scout the area the day before the ceremony.

OFFICIANT SERVICES

I became ordained so I could provide my clients with a more personal experience. Some states are self solemnizing meaning that two people can get married without a third party officiant. You are always more than welcome to hire an officiant of your choice! We are inclusive of all religions, genders and the LGBTQ community.

TIMELINE BUILDING

After we have all of the details of your elopement hashed out, I will create a timeline of your wedding day with all details, so you know exactly what to expect!

UNLIMITED CONSULTS

When your date is official we can begin planning your elopement! We will schedule two more essential consults after you book where we will discuss details and information for your day. The consult after that will be a few weeks later where we will go over bookings and the timeline and confirm plans. It is expected to have possibly two more consults closer to the time of the wedding date to make sure everything is in line!

ACQUIRING PERMITS

Most places will require a permit to host a ceremony. Don't worry about legalities and permits! I will take care of all of that for you! The cost of permits are built into your collection price.

ELOPEMENT GUIDE

With every elopement my clients will recieve an elopement guide customized for their chosen destination. This guide will include references for vendors, lodging and activities to make your experience as custom as possible.

TRAVEL FEES

My own travel costs are all included in each package so I can get to all the locations you’ve dreamed of. Our inclusive pricing is to make sure you don’t have to worry about inflation, changes in airfares or in gas pricing.

No extra fees. No hidden fees.

PAYMENT PLANS

Every collection includes your option to a payment plan. Just one more thing to make your dream wedding more attainable and less stressful!

This is the process:

Elopement Photography The process

I. Send your inquiry.

Once you’ve decided you’re ready to reach out, the next step is to fill out the form on our contact page. This is the best way to get in touch with me and share more about you and the vision you have for your wedding day.

II. Schedule a call with me!

Once you submit the contact form, I will review your inquiry and get back to you with an email response. At the end of the email, you will see a link to schedule a call with me. This call will allow us to get to know each other more as well as go over your elopement plans and answer any questions you might have.

III. Consultation Call.

During your consultation call we will discuss your needs for your wedding and give you a breakdown of the elopement collections. If you are ready you are more than welcome to book on our call. That means confirming your proposal, signing your contract and paying your deposit to make your date official!

IV. Let the planning begin!

To reserve your date and officially book you will sign your contract and pay your collection deposit. Deposits vary from 30% to 50% of your collection price depending on the installment plan you choose. View Installment plans here.

When your date is official, we can begin planning your elopement! I will send you an email with all the information you need to know regarding what to expect during this process. Typically, this email will also include a custom location list, vendor recommendations, as well as an elopement checklist that will help walk you through each step of the elopement planning process. Depending on the location though, I may need a bit more time to do some research and prepare this information.

V. Deliver memories.

After the big decisions have been made regarding your wedding date and location, I will continue to check in with you from time to time. I'm always available to help answer any questions you might have. Planning an elopement is such a fun process and finding the right photographer is one of the best ways to make sure that your elopement day goes according to your vision and that you have lasting memories and photos that you can share for years to come.

WHY COUPLES CHOOSE TO ELOPE

-Once in a lifetime experience

-Less stress and anxiety

-Way less planning

-Better photos + Experience

-Valuing experiences over stuff

ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE

Imagine waking up in a luxury tree house in the mountains of Tennessee or a vintage Airstream camper in Joshua Tree. You and your love have breakfast and coffee together and then begin getting ready for your wedding day. You can say " I Do" on the rocky coastline of California during sunset or at a secluded hot spring waterfall nestled in the mountains of Idaho. After your intimate ceremony you can cruise the Pacific Coastal Highway in a classic convertible or enjoy a luxury picnic overlooking Zion National Park to celebrate the day! End your night by roasting smores or relaxing the hot tub at your lodging with gorgeous views. Watch the stars rise above the horizon and reflect on the amazing day with your best friend! At the end of it all you will have stunning images that artistically documents one of the most beautiful days of your lives!

LESS STRESS AND ANXIETY

Planning a big traditional wedding is a significantly more stressful endeavor compared to elopements. The logistics involved in organizing a large-scale event with numerous guests, vendors, and intricate details quickly becomes overwhelming. By eliminating the guest list, most of the logistics fall away. More importantly, the expectations surrounding a traditional wedding can contribute to heightened stress. Societal norms, family traditions, and external expectations often come into play, influencing decisions and adding layers of complexity to the planning process.

WAY LESS PLANNING

People elope because it requires so much less planning than a big, traditional wedding. Expanding on "less stress and anxiety", elopements are also less stressful because planning them is easier. It allows couples to invest their time and energy into meaningful aspects of their day.  When you elope, you only have to plan what you want. Don’t want to think about decor? Great. Don’t. Only want to plan a breathtakingly romantic horseback ride through the Redwoods? Great. Do that.

The great thing about booking an elopement with me is that I personally take care of many aspects of your day. I acquire the permits and do all the location scouting and research so you can show up to your day with nothing to worry about. Some collections come with much more complimentary planning and booking.

BETTER PHOTOS + EXPERIENCE

Contrary to a common misconception that couples who elope are indifferent to their wedding experience, our data-driven insights reveal a profound level of care and intentionality among eloping couples. Far from hastily bypassing the wedding festivities, couples who elope showcase a remarkable commitment to crafting a wedding day experience that is intentional and reflects their values. And this very often involves investing in amazing photos so that they can preserve their own memories and share their wedding with friends and family.

VALUING EXPERIENCES OVER STUFF

People who value experiences over things tend to be drawn to elopements. Not because they don’t want to invest in their wedding day, but because they have a different set of priorities.

The average wedding in the United States in 2023 costs between $29,000-36,000.

That’s for what ends up being about a six-to-seven hour event (which, hello, breaks down to about $5500 an hour) And during that time, an average of 600 pounds of garbage is created.

Instead of paying $10K for your $65 a head meal for over 150 guests, couples who elope get to spend that money on an epic honeymoon or plan an adventure that they’ll talk about for years.

Eloping allows you to spend money on things you will enjoy. If it feels like a waste of money to spend $30,000 on one day, then you can definitely relate. A wedding doesn’t have to break the bank. You don’t have to feel like the money you’re spending on your wedding is ending up in the trash–literally. Spend it on experiences you’ll relive and retell for the rest of your life.
